Comfrey has antioxidant, demulcent, emollient and vulnerary properties that help to support healing of damaged skin tissue. It has astringent tannins that help to protect wounds and promote healing. It helps to soothe burns, insect bites and skin wounds. Used externally, comfrey has anti-inflammatory, demulcent and cell-proliferant properties which help to relieve pain and swelling due to inflammation and promote healing of damaged tissue. Traditionally used for bone fractures, strains, bruising and rheumatic conditions. Comfrey contains allantoin which may explain its soothing and wound-healing effects.

Topically, Lobelia helps to reduce swelling and pain associated with wounds, poison ivy, insect bites and ringworm. It has been used to help draw out boils and also helps to soothe muscle tension. Lobelia is also helpful for its antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. This herb has been said to provide relief for rheumatic conditions including rheumatic nodules and muscular inflammation due to strains and sprains.
Marshmallow, root, 18 mg / 2.5 mg
Marshmallow has been used for centuries as a topical anti-inflammatory with antimicrobial effects. Common uses include infected skin wounds, boils, ulcers, inflamed cuts, burns, insect bites and chapped skin. Marshmallow may help to boost immunity at a cellular level. It can also be useful in reducing the pain and swelling associated with chilblains. Marshmallow is a strong demulcent that helps to soothe irritated skin such as chapped skin, psoriasis and eczema. It is an herb that has demulcent, emollient and vulnerary properties that work synergistically in supporting the effects of other herbs such as Comfrey.
Red clover, herb top, 18 mg / 2.5 mg
Red clover contains the anti-inflammatory compounds eugenol, myricetin and salicylic acid which helps to reduce inflammation and pain associated with sores, burns, eczema and psoriasis. It also contains nourishing vitamins that help to support the healing process.
Eucalyptus, essential oil 0.5% / 2.5mg
Eucalyptus essential oil has a wide variety of uses and benefits. In this formula, it acts to temporarily relieves aches and pains of muscles & joints associated with simple backache, lumbago, strains & sprains involving muscles, tendons and/or ligaments. It works well for arthritic conditions, sports-related injuries and over-used muscles.
Goldenseal, root, 10 mg / 2.5 mg
Goldenseal provides strong antimicrobial and antibacterial properties along with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent properties that help to control infection associated with minor sores and wounds. Many consider Goldenseal, like Echinacea, to be a natural antibiotic.

When using this product digestive problems may occur
Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if:
- Symptoms persist or worsen
- If you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat and/or difficulty breathing

When using this product:
- Application should only occur on intact skin
- Marshmallow may increase the topical anti-inflammatory effects of steroids
- Prolonged application may result in tar acne
- Some people are very susceptible to tar, erythema following the application of even dilute preparations of it have been known to occur
Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if skin irritation and/or rash develops or increases. If symptoms persist and/or worsen after 7 days or reoccur within a few days.
